The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regards to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access sassa status SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and sassa status there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support position designed for intervention activities a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to SRD a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
